About Us

United Justice, a survivor-founded and survivor-led nonprofit organization, works to end human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation in Latin America.  It operates programs in Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, and Venezuela, and currently serves women and children.

We consistently see an increasing number of vulnerable women and children that are being easily recruited by sex traffickers in Latin America. Poverty, lack of access to education, the Venezuelan migration crisis, the lack of economic opportunities, and the inequality that is rooted in cultural norms are major contributing factors.

Interrupting the cycle of commercial sexual exploitation is a complicated process of building trust, so that victims can exit exploitation and rebuild their lives. Trust is at the center of breaking the cycle, where victims feel safe in sharing their stories, issues, and needs.  Education is our strategy to empower vulnerable women and children and is a tool that enriches the opportunity for a healthy future.
